My life was out of control because drugs brought me to my darkest and lowest moments, becoming a meaningless black hole. I used to go to Lighthouse Mission a lot and one day I climbed up onto the roof to get some sleep. As I sat there, a fellow from the mission came up to speak with me. He was able to encourage and pray for me. He told me there was hope and how Adult & Teen Challenge could help. We came off the roof and soon I was on my way to Brandon.
The moment I walked through the door, I knew I was taking a huge step to a better life. The journey has not been easy but God is teaching me to trust in Him as He truly loves me. I just graduated from the program and have started the SURGE leadership training. I am not sure what my future holds but if I keep walking toward Jesus, I don’t need to fear for He is with me all the way!
