Adult & Teen Challenge’s Family Support Groups
Concerned Persons Group is a crucial part of Ready Now Recovery, as we have seen first-hand the impact a loved one can have on a person struggling with addiction when they have learned healthy coping skills and have broken free from codependency.
This is a group for people who have or have had a loved one struggling with life-controlling addictions. Concerned Persons walks group members through enabling, codependency and healthy communication with their loved one. Boundaries is another course that we offer for family members.
This course teaches people how to set healthy boundaries to protect their personal well-being while walking alongside someone who is struggling.

When we joined the concerned persons support group we were feeling fragile and alone. We noticed that we were desiring and wanting our son to get better more than what he wanted for himself. Going through the material together with others gave us comfort, renewed hope and strength to let go. The Lord showed us areas where we were enabling our son and we learnt that we are powerless to fix what is wrong in our loved one’s lives. We recognized that it was important for us to let go, get out of the way and allow God to work in our son’s life.
Shortly after Kyle and I received help, our son accepted help from Adult & Teen Challenge and completed the 4-Tier Program. The Lord is restoring our family, we are growing in interacting healthier with each other and experiencing so much more peace. Thank you Jesus, thank you Adult & Teen Challenge.
