Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada is proud to partner with Global Teen Challenge, a worldwide network of ministries bringing hope, freedom, and restoration to individuals and families affected by addiction.
Through this partnership, we have the privilege of serving alongside Teen Challenge centres across the globe by sending mission teams, equipping leaders, providing practical resources, supporting humanitarian initiatives, and building lasting relationships that strengthen recovery ministries.
Our global mission is rooted in the same calling that guides everything we do, sharing the hope of Jesus Christ and helping people find freedom from addiction, wherever they live.
Together with Global Teen Challenge, we are investing in ministries that are transforming lives in more than 140 countries around the world.
Upcoming Opportunities
India
Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada is excited to be growing a meaningful partnership with Teen Challenge India together, we are building relationships that encourage leaders, and expand opportunities to share the hope of Jesus Christ with individuals and families affected by addiction.
In fall of 2026, we had the privilege of welcoming a team from India to Central Canada. Their visit included tours and services in Thunder Bay, Steinbach, and Winnipeg, providing opportunities to hear firsthand lives are being transformed through Teen Challenge in India.
Handmade gift bags from India are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting projects and ongoing programs.
Looking ahead, we are preparing to send a team to India in March 2027. This trip will focus on serving alongside local Teen Challenge programs, participating in outreach opportunities, and strengthening a partnership we believe will have a lasting impact for years to come.
Together with Global Teen Challenge, we are honoured to build relationships that extend beyond borders, united by a shared mission to bring hope and freedom from addiction to communities around the world.
Past Missions Trips
Jamaica
Our partnership with Teen Challenge Jamaica, is the longest-standing international ministry relationship of Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada. Since 1998, we have had the privilege of walking alongside this incredible ministry as it has grown into a thriving centre of hope and restoration.
Over the years, teams from Central Canada have travelled to Jamaica to serve in practical ways, helping build facilities, support ministry initiatives, encourage local leaders, and share the love of Christ within the surrounding communities. Together, we have assisted with construction projects that helped establish what is now Teen Challenge Jamaica’s Women’s Centre, contributed to the development of agricultural facilities including greenhouses, supported renovations and expansion projects, and partnered in community outreach efforts.
Most recently, in 2025, our team served alongside Teen Challenge Jamaica through children’s ministry, community outreach, sharing the Gospel, and providing fresh food hampers to families in need. We were also honoured to donate a commercial printer/copier to strengthen the ministry’s daily operations and administrative capacity.
Today, Teen Challenge Jamaica is home to a compassionate Women’s Centre and a thriving men’s campus on a farm that includes livestock and commercial gardening. These initiatives not only support the ministry but also provide practical training, sustainability, and opportunities to serve the surrounding community.
One of the greatest joys of this partnership has been witnessing the growth that has taken place over the past two decades. Seeds planted through years of faithful partnership have flourished into a ministry that is now impacting lives far beyond its campus. It is an honour to stand alongside the dedicated leadership and staff of Teen Challenge Jamaica as they continue to bring hope, healing, and the love of Christ to individuals, families, and communities across their nation.
Zambia 2025
Serving with Adult & Teen Challenge Kafue
In 2025, Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada partnered with Global Teen Challenge to serve alongside Adult & Teen Challenge Kafue, Zambia, strengthening an established ministry that is transforming lives through Christ-centered addiction recovery.
During our visit, our team had the privilege of serving at their 40-bed men’s recovery campus and supporting their elementary school, which provides education and hope for children from the surrounding community. Through relationship-building, encouragement, and practical service, we were able to come alongside local leaders who are faithfully serving their communities every day.
Our mission also included a powerful outreach in Kitwe, where we ministered to more than 4,000 inmates in a local correctional facility. Sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with so many men and women was a deeply humbling reminder that transformation is possible for everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
One of the lasting impacts of this partnership was made possible through Global Vision 2020, as we helped provide prescription eyeglass backpack kits to local ministry teams. Each kit contains the equipment needed to perform vision screenings and assemble custom prescription glasses on-site, providing access to essential eye care in communities where these services are often unavailable.
Our partnership with Zambia continues to grow beyond a single mission trip. In 2026, Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada has prepared and sent a shipping container filled with ministry resources and practical supplies to further strengthen the work taking place through Adult & Teen Challenge Zambia.
