How it works
When you register for this event, you’ll be able to choose which campus you would like to support, and the funds you raise will benefit the people in that program. You will be part of helping us put hope within reach for those struggling with life controlling issues.
The tournament format uses a smartphone app. Your two-person team can jump in the boat and fish anywhere you want, entering the lengths of your fish in the Reel Livewell app which will track entries from across North America. (this means you will need cell reception where you fish in order to play). You will receive a tournament ruler in the mail, 48 hours before the event you will also receive a tournament code (text or email) that you use to log into the Reel Livewell app, on the app you will be able to take pictures of your fish, with the ruler and update the details. At 3:00pm local time the app will automatically close the tournament, so make sure you get your images in.
The entry fee is $200USD per team (limit 2 people on a team). You can participate in the Walleye, Bass, Panfish, or Northern Pike divisions. Choose which one you want to fish, and go fishing! Friends, family, and business associates can participate by giving funds through your team’s fundraising page to help you reach your fundraising goals.
While this is a fun tournament with lots of camaraderie and competition, this is first and foremost a fundraising event to benefit Adult & Teen Challenge, and we are serious about seeing lives transformed. Once you register you will receive a package that explains in detail how everything works, along with some great resources to help you reach your fundraising goals.
- The top 10 teams in each division (40 teams!) will be entitled to a prize from a great list including reels, tackle, fishing clothing, electronics, gift cards, and more. More than $15,000 in prizes will be awarded! The complete prize list will be available May 1 and will be posted on this page.
