As I grew up, I spent a lot of time going back and forth between Texas, where I was born, and my home in Canada. This was very confusing for me and I felt like the black sheep of my family. I started experimenting with drugs and alcohol at a young age to help numb those feelings. This quickly escalated and by the time I was 21 years old I was an IV drug user. When I was 24, I heard about Adult & Teen Challenge and knew I would be dead soon if I did not choose to get help with my addiction.
God has completely changed my life and way of thinking. For the first time I see a purpose for my life and the future God has written for me. Thank you for your prayers and support.
