I had a good life growing up, going to church and practiced Christian values at home. As I got older I started drinking occasionally and it quickly turned into drinking a lot. When that was not enough I was introduced to cocaine and my life turned dark. I lost the trust of family and friends and was tired of walking around pretending to be happy.
When I came into Adult & Teen Challenge, I rededicated my life to Christ and was baptized. I have had a few rough times when I wanted to leave because of family sickness, but the brotherhood here let me know I needed to stay. Now I am glad to have just graduated from the program and am working on gaining trust back from my family and friends. I have moved back to the Steinbach area, and plan on staying connected with ATC, have a good career and raise my family to love the Lord.
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
