Jordan

I’m a truck mechanic, and for years I struggled with drinking and partying, not realizing I needed help. My biggest challenge before joining Ready Now Recovery was being honest with my loved ones. I learned that my real problem wasn’t just addiction but the inability to be truthful, which made everything worse.

Ready Now Recovery gave me the space to speak openly, first with the group and then with my friends and family. It showed me that I’m not alone—others are facing the same struggles. I’ve grown close to the guys in the group; we meet regularly for honest discussions and accountability, helping each other grow in the way God intended.

One night, on my way to the group, I felt the Lord speak to me. That night, I heard and accepted the gospel, got baptized, and my life changed. Staying sober became easier, and now I share my story to help others.

To those hesitant to attend: it’s important to step out of your comfort zone. Sometimes we get stuck where we are, but growth happens when we take that first step. You’ll meet supportive, like-minded people, and you’ll experience the love and guidance of Jesus.
