Steve

From the age of 14 I had an alcohol addiction, which led to drug use. I felt lost, confused and hopeless. One day, hurting and broken, I walked into a church and asked Jesus to come into my life. I felt God’s touch, and knew there was hope. I heard about Adult & Teen Challenge from a pastor who encouraged me to enrol and gave me a copy of The Cross and the Switchblade

The people in church loved and supported me, helping me decide to enter the program. While at Adult & Teen Challenge, I learned about the Lord’s plan for my life. I know He loves me, despite the fact that I was abandoned by my biological parents and placed in foster homes. God healed me, and I graduated with joy, peace and purpose.

Today I’m participating in the SURGE leadership program, living at the ATC graduate house in Winkler and serving at the Super Thrift Store. Thank you for your support and prayers!
